Can You See Him?

Can You See Him?
by
Zachoia Cooper
(age 15)

Now in heaven, being one
The Father, Holy Ghost, and Son
Now the angels sing His praises
Glory circles and embraces

Now reposed in sinner’s womb
Silent and dark as a tomb
Now beholding sinful men
And, in form, as one of them

From his creation see him flee
For he has not yet turned age three
The jealous king whom He appointed
Seeks to murder God’s anointed

In the temple, see Him talk
With sinful men, and see him walk
He calls the foolish, the unwise
And by His servant is baptized

See Jesus humble the proud
See him healing the large crowd
Speaking words no mortal man
Can by his own pow’r comprehend

Sinner, sinner, don’t you see
See the pain and agony
Sinner, sinner, don’t you see
What he suffered on Calvary

Sinner, sinner, don’t you see
See the pain and agony
Sinner, sinner, don’t you see
What he suffered on Calvary
What he suffered for you and me.

This poem is awesome. I felt Jesus beside me as I read about Him.
